Reds late winner keeps title hopes alive

An extremely entertaining second half ended with a last minute winner from skipper Kieran Smith. Earlier the first half was a flat affair with Charlie Deakin going closest to a goal for the Reds but Scole snatched the lead in the 43rd minute. With the manager’s hairdryer ringing in the ears the equaliser soon followed via Riley Debenham’s corner. A mistake from our stopper Aiden Way was punished to quickly reinstate Scole’s advantage 2-1. But Smith headed home to level it again and with the game turning heated and 4 yellows being handed out still the hosts pressed hard for a winner before the captain’s late header from Debenham’s free-kick sent Manor Road into raptures.
